After ALL the old fabric and foam is removed we check and inspect the body for any cracks, we always reinforce the base mounting t-nut areas as these always show signs of wear due to time and pressure from daily use. New foam is always applied prior to installing the fabric or leather you love. We finish off the body with that 'classic' 1/4" step stitch. Often stress fractures are visible at the metal base mounting points. These are saddle welded and then the base gets a semi gloss powder coat or a fresh chrome depending on your 'look'.

Before we even look at the upholstery every weld on the intricate formed body is check for 'pops' and repaired perfectly after which the metal wire body is either chrome plated or powder coated depending on your taste.

Each project is started with a bare, stripped down frame. The frame is checked for strength and rigidity and all repairs are done at this time. We only dowel and glue our wood joints and never screw. New quality webbing is installed prior to new foam followed by the fabric or leather of your choice.

Bases and metal frames are either chromed, re-polished or powder coated depending on the series of sofa or settee. The end results is a perfect, strong timeless piece for you to enjoy for decades.

Probably the most comfortable lounger on earth. We replace the rubber formed 'hose' if it shows any signs of wear prior to building the new upholstered panels. New floor runner glides are installed if needed.

The end result of our meticulous attention to detail will be drum-tight upholstery for that classic tight feel.
